Anyway, the funny thing about childhood nostalgia is that it applies even when you live in the same place you grew up in. We live not more than 2 miles from my parents house. But so little of what I remember growing up is there. Or maybe what is there was always there, but I don't remember it rightly.
Even my parents home is quite different. They waited until all of us moved out before remodelling, and expanding the kitchen into something people could actually eat in. :-)
