My Mum started going grey at twenty one. I can't ever remember her without some grey in her hair. It's gone a lovely, lovely pure white now. Mine seems to have skipped the grey stage altogether and the first white hairs started appearing about five years ago. I can't quite bring myself to worry about it since I grew up with a grey-haired Mum. But I think I'll carrying on dyeing it at least until I'm sure it's all gone white at the roots. I'm going to look like a confused badger when I finally decide to grow the dye out :)
