Strum, strum... blessings...
Today is Valentine's Day (have a happy one, all!) - for me that means some time all to myself as the kids are in school and my DH, who sings in a barbershop quartet, is off serenading other women all day long. :-D
We have "crazy hat day" at the school, so first I spent the morning freaking out the littlest ones with my 'hat' - it makes it look like you've rammed a wire whisk through your ears and out the other side. Good fun -
So many things I wanted to do with "all that time" that I ended up frittering most of it away, but it's been very peaceful. Went to a music store and bought some better-fitting picks for my autoharp, then spent quite some time practicing with it until my hands got too sore to continue. The silence in the house now is lovely. I hope all of you have also had at least a little peace, or whatever it is that recharges you, this day.
