I think I'm a junkie

I did it again! I had an appointment this morning and as I was going out I spied a parking lot plant sale across the way. Now I have four nice, fat sword ferns to plant, as well as 4 pots of hens-n-chicks. But...but...they were half price!

If you see someone out surreptitiously sniffing compost behind the greenhouses, it's probably just me...

You and Bob both! The other day I was entering debits into our bank account while Bob read them off...and there four entries for four different stores in one day for plants...lol! Which included 10 cent geraniums ;)

ROFL!!! You *are* an addict! He's not here right now but when he gets back I'll ask him...Hmmm...checking in our Quicken account for that day, he went to Home Depot, Lowes, and Emery's (a local nursery here)...I was wrong..he only got plants at three places that day.

Update...Bob got the 10 cent geraniums at Lowes...they were having a sale and clearing a lot of plants out...so you may want to check at your Lowes to see if they are doing the same...Some of the geraniums are now in our hanging basket :)

You know, I thought the big problem these days was kids sniffing stuff...not adults.

Does it make it better that its all organic =D?

Hi Prim,
You can never have to many plants in the garden. Besides you are just rescuing them from uncertain death of being confined to those little prisons called pots. Keep up the good work Dearheart, Treebeard would be proud of you.

PS email me privately I have a question for you. F.
