Oooh, look ladies! Nice!

I've found something wonderful for, well - personal care for us gals, but it's so cool I thought I'd point the way in case others are interested...

Berries and Peppers

Now here's an interesting thing to find out after living most of my life in Oregon - the Oregon Grape (Mahonia) berries are not only edible by people, they taste pretty darn good. I always thought of them as 'bird berries', purely decorative before - turns out I've been missing out on a good crop. The seeds are a bit bitter, so our pie experiment was so-so, but it makes top-notch jam. Wow. And I have five big mahonia bushes, all loaded with blue berries. Woot!

On another front, I found a nice beginner's belly-dance outfit that *doesn't* make me think of 'I Dream of Jeanie' and added a tie-dye hipscarf with peppers!
