While cleaning garden storage cupboards at our new place, I peeled off the old yellowed labels the previous owners had left (i.e. "PLANT CHEMICALS" etc.)

There's one longer cupboard up above with two doors both of which just said "EQUIPMENT". Peeling it off I found it originally said "ALCHEMY EQUIPMENT". From the pegboard inside it appears it was where they kept their watering wands. Hahaha! Wave them around and the dirt transforms into plants!

Now that spring is here have you seen any spring flowers / plants in your new garden.

Hi Daisy! We've certainly pulled up a bumper crop of weeds, mostly mounds of deadnettle and bittercress and there don't seem to be many bulbs in the ground (I'll have to amend that) but there were some very nice miniature narcissus and tulips, plus a nice white clematis vine. The pear tree is opening up now, and lithodora. I've a lot of scrubby shrubs to pull up and planting to do over the next couple of years, I think.

Sounds like you will have fun Prim, making plans for your garden.
I have a few clematis too, mostly purple and a good one which is Nelly Moser with pink flowers and grows over the stump of an old tree.
