lost_spook to do this meme. I theoretically have to tag people as well but, nah.
A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it". (Technically, I haven't said that, right?)
1. Fact: I love reading original sources of historical works whenever possible, like Cicero and Erasmus. Nothing like the real thing instead of just something referred to.
2. Quirk: I love to sniff ponderosa pine trees and will go around sticking my nose into their bark if any come my way. Mmmm. Vanilla cookies!
3. Habit: If I see a weed, I pull it or at least pinch off the budding part. My kids roll their eyes when I pop weeds out of the edges of other people's yards while walking sometimes, I just can't stand to see the little beggars go to seed. Or maybe that's a quirk!
4. Fact: My mom craved dark chocolate and peppermint while carrying me and it remains one of my all-time favorite things to this day.
5. Quirk: I would rather have silence than have a song interrupted, which is why for a fairly musical person I really don't listen to much music. Besides, I usually have more than enough music already going in my head.
6. Quirky Habit: I make coffee in the espresso maker in the morning, often not so much because I want coffee but because I love the squealing and great dramatic clouds of steam like a mad-scientist's laboratory.
7. Fact: I had a hummingbird hover nearby and look at me, then sit by my feet and bathe in the water droplets from my hose as I was watering once. There's something magical about that.
Whew - Those were harder to think up than I expected.
Now, back to work!
