Well, she was an artist at least - the stuff she was doing over there was pretty impressive...she just didn't teach, unless the way you learn is by watching and copying I guess. There were some ladies there who apparently had been signing up and coming there for years, they said it was therapeutic to them to have the time set aside for painting. :-/ Maybe once I find my feet I'll want something like that too, but it definitely wasn't too helpful for a newbie. BUT - it did get me going, and a kick in the rear is what I needed to apply to myself to make myself start.
