Bloom, baby, bloom!

I have snowdrops!!! I went out and took a picture of the little darlings.
And one little anenome opened up...and yellow crocuses in one of my pet flowerbeds at the church, and lots and lots of lots of bluebell and narcissi pushing up through the wonderfully soft earth. Spent a heavenly hour yesterday donning my new garden gloves (what is nicer than new garden gloves? Really?), went grubbing baby grass clumps out of my daffodil bed in the lightly sprinking sunset. It is so satisfying to be able to make such a difference so easily - would that our lives could be like that flowerbed in only an hour, all those annoying little weeds of life that threaten to grow faster than we can keep up, hungering for our sunlight and energy - all of them lying in wilted clumps at our feet, scattered and powerless to keep us from blooming.
I am gardener. Hear me roar! :-D
