Noisy bones

Had my back go out of whack this last week - no idea why, I just woke up with it that way - and I finally gave up on it correcting itself and went to the chiropractor. We have a good one, he's done marvels on other members of the family but this is the first time I had to crawl into his office and then leave soooo much better. (yay! problem gone)

What was wildest to me was how LOUD a back being adjusted is to the person it is happening to! I've heard it done to other folks, but it was just a polite little crunchy noise, like a large zipper dipped in cornflakes. When it happens to you, personally, it is more akin to a string of those little ladyfinger firecrackers going off around your ears.
