Irish Bellydance
Aug. 7th, 2009 08:04 amI keep dragging various people along to my dance class, it's too much fun not to share - now my younger one,
starbells has joined us as well. Fun thing is she's an Irish dance lady and it's quite fun to watch her struggle to lift her arms and wave them around, she's so trained to keep them down at her sides while dancing, heh. The teacher loved the idea of somehow finding a way to incorporate Irish dance and suggested she try doing both, to see if they could create Irish Bellydance. X-D Great fun watching my mom (yes, grandma got dragged in as well) waving around a pink veil and having a grand time.
On other fronts, my little deck planters are producing lemon cukes and cherry tomatoes at last, yum... and I think I managed to feed enough buckets of water to my new greengage sapling that it won't drop its fruit, yay... Thank heavens the weather is back where it belongs - the 70s - and all my poor sunburnt plants have a chance to recover.
