Let it shower

Been cleaning my house for what seems like forever, the dust bunny population and general hidden crud had a higher incidence rate than even I expected...ick... You know how you think your house is clean until you really pay attention when cleaning it? Yeah. Much better now. Baby shower I'm hosting is Saturday, but I have so much other stuff to do the next couple days, I'm trying to finish the prep now.
Meanwhile, the guys who were supposed to come pressure wash our house and restain it last week *finally* showed up to do the work. It figures. I had all the decks swept with artsy stuff and flowering plants and hung out a couple new wind spinners and a set of chimes to make it all nice...and then had to take it all down and pile it to the side because they had to pressure wash. Argh. Now my previously 'clean' bedroom is full of tomato plants and deck chairs. Water is blasting past my windows and the parakeets are acking and squawking away at it.
Where do all these cobwebs come from anyway? How come we don't see little spiders running all over the place all the time, or swinging along through the air like freckle-sized Tarzans?
