((((flist)))) Regretfully feel like I've barely had time to scan your posts, much less reply.

Sunshine! We have some - which is big news here, it's been unusually grey even for Oregon this May and early June. Bright and warm and sweet. Mmm. I'm going to go out into it and pull weeds and trim lilac bushes.

Haven't had as much time for online play as I would like - we're getting ready to list our 'old' house this coming Monday so I've got to doll it up for pictures, fluffing the barkdust and adding color-spots to the flowerbeds. I took a lot of my favorite plants with me to my new house, so there's noticeable blank spots. Noticed my blueberry bushes *finally* have a bumper crop of berries coming in...and I won't get to eat them! Hope the new folks that buy it like blueberries.

Here's hoping and praying for good buyers, folks who will have kids for the swing-set and be nice neighbors to the gentle people in that cul-de-sac...folks who won't chop down our trees.... folks with lots of money, lol...

Designing a business website for my dad's BBQ and hotsauce store in Hawaii, which is good experience in such things. We only have two sponsors for One Small Garden so far, him and Sean Astin, LOL... strange combination. Hopefully we'll soon have more. :-)

Hey Homey,
What ever became of that thread based MB idea?

It went on the back burner when Decipher finally ironed out their site so it wasn't crashing every day - I don't know if there would still be enough folks interested to make it worth the while, I guess...

I wish I could be the one to buy your former home, I love trees, I have a baby that loves to swing, we're quiet people, we love blueberries...but that last condition rules us out :-(

I wish you could too - it even has two other families with baby girls there... sigh. And best of all, it would mean you would be in Oregon! :-)

Ground up bark. It comes in various kinds - I prefer dark hemlock, as it doesn't cause splinters when children play in it and it's nice a chocolatey dark on the landscaping. Most common is red barkdust. Basic landscaping component here, to keep the weeds down.

Your Dad has a BBQ & Hot sauce store in Hawaii? He sounds like a really cool fictional character, except he's real!!!

He's on Maui, and really *does* seem fictional sometimes, heh. He sells fireplaces and does organic gardening, is an artist and has scads of other interests. His life makes for good storytelling. :-D

Even better, and from previous posts, I know he shares your wonderful humor, too! Too bad nobody close to him is a writer...oh wait! hehehe ;)
