I don't know how many of you have heard about how Rosie and Icarus and their entire family hit ice while driving and were all rolled repeatedly in their van - thank the Lord all of them are still with us, though two of the girls are still in the hospital with severe injuries. As Ic said, "it's amazing how many 'should have been dead' people we now have in this family." - We are starting a "card campaign" for them, to send comforting/amusing cards to the kids and to Rosie and Ic also, everyone was traumatized by this event. Just email me, or pm me at the Fellowship boards for the kids names/ages and the mailing address. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for them, and wanting to help. (((((flist)))))

What a great idea. What a horrible thing. I'm glad to hear the boards are still active and full of people that will help bombard them with good wishes. I'll have to add that to my shopping list too.

Oh yes, I will participate as well. It is aweful and sad to hear this accident happened. I am glad they are all safe, but it is very traumatic. I will pm you or the one of the other mods, Prim. And what a sweet idea to do something for the kids.

It was quite a shock to get the news... I can only imagine what it has been like, seeing three of your kids life-flighted away - thankfully the littlest ones were only bruised up, let's hear it for good carseats! I'll send you the info for mailing.

Thank you, MrsP - let's make them happy to be getting cards in the mail (who doesn't love that as a kid?) and let them know they are being thought of.

Hi Prim,

It's Sûlien (Yovonne) from Northwesternesse. Unfortunately, I can't find my link to the Fellowship board (if we're talking about the one Iorhael had set up), but I would love to send a card to each of the kids. Can you please email me at sulien_1@hotmail.com with the info? And would it be ok to send a book or some such (if they're up to reading)?

Thank you, dear Sulien - I'm sure anything at all would be appreciated, though it could be quite a few books. The Fellowship of Middle-earth boards are at http://lotrfellowship.com, and I will also email it to you.

It is hard any time someone you care about is injured (Loth comes to mind too) - and when there are children involved it is even harder... Thank you for your kind words, I'll get the info to you as soon as I hear.
