I got rooter-pots! I love new toys. Now I get to make little camellias and rhodies from my big camellias and rhodies, they just snap around the stem with peat moss in 'em and little roots grow, then you cut off the branch and plant it. Is that cool or what? My new heat-mat for the seedlings is 'cooking' on kitchen counter nicely, lots of little sprouts waving their green hair in the warmth, uncurling their shy little heads from their seeds. Once their roots are nice and strong, out into the greenhouse they will go, no more utopia with me misting them twice a day, ah the trials of growing up.

Hard homeschool day today, kids just didn't want to do anything... me = frustrated as all plans for simple extras like even getting a haircut go out the window and the last paper isn't done until bedtime. Sigh. Still worth it, though, by golly it is still worth it. Kids need roots too.

Good hortecultural toys you have there! And it lead you into a lovely analogy. The chances of children for me at this point is pretty slim, but if it worked out that way, homeschooling would be my first choice. A whole lot of work, I know, but I think it would be worth it. It is good to hear you think so too, even on a tough day.
