Oct. 21st, 2008 09:00 pmI haz a happy!
Yes, even though I expect Lolcats (lolcatz?) will slowly erode away any semblance of grammar or spelling that existed prior to its inception, sometimes it just suits the occasion, especially if the occasion if more of a happy-fluffy-yeee! moment than a 'serious happiness/joy' thing.
We got the dvd for "The Invasion" - a perfectly lovely Patrick Troughton episode which has the missing 2 eps redone in animation by the BBC (thank heavens they at least kept the audio), and we have a new favorite quote - "Look Jamie. Sandwiches!" Much snuggling of the dvd by all parties involved.
Also heard from the lovely jan-u-wine once again and she came bearing more of her marvelous poetry, you can't beat that. Wrote a cutesy drabble for Three and an angsty one for Narnia.
And we have marshmallow pies. To eat while watching the snuggly dvd.

Date: 2008-10-22 02:20 pm (UTC)I'm exceedingly blessed to have all three of my kids likewise enthralled by Who - we all spent an entire hour yesterday just listening to that wonderful autobiographical 'one man show' by Pertwee that the Beeb has available now... link was over at venusianaikido. Marvelous.
I hope you will soon find a geek-buddy.

Date: 2008-10-22 02:28 pm (UTC)My brother will watch it with me at home, but no luck to far here. I know there must be someone though, I mean, William and Mary's a pretty geek-y campus. I'm going as Four for Halloween so I'm hoping someone will recognize me and we will hit it off and watch Doctor Who together. That's the dream.
