Jingle ow, jingle ow
Sep. 30th, 2009 09:31 amOy vey, one thing about bellydance is I'm sure discovering how many little muscles I have that
A) I've never thought about before (huh? there's a muscle there?) and
B) hurt when you try to turn them from flab to something useful. (jingle! ow. jingle! ow.)
On the other hand, this stuff is great for back, shoulder and neck issues - we have one rather uncomfortable looking older gentleman in our class now who is there because his doctor recommended it for his neck and back, heh. The teacher thankfully knows the alternate stances and moves for menfolk so he felt a little better about it.
I keep wanting to buy fluffy jingly dance stuff, though I don't need them. I think I'm making up for not playing dress-up much as a kid. ;-)
