Nothing has ended

I posted my final chapter of "Nothing of Note" today - what a strange feeling, to draw it to a close. It's been over a year and a half of walking along with Bilbo, and I shall miss him, but I am looking forward to having a chance at pursuing any of a dozen different ideas I've had to write on that my dear old curmudgeon wouldn't allow until his tale was told first. He's downing all of the tarts that he and Frodo baked in my kitchen this morning, and has quite depleted my supply of earl grey and cream, but seems content for now...though he has mentioned he would like to have another adventure sometime.

I haven't been as faithful with regular comments as I should have been, but I've been keeping up with this lovely tale -- that started as all serial tales do, with just an idea that you thought would be fun to pursue for a time, and then Bilbo took over and that was that. ;-) You might as well get another Bilbo notebook ready, for he'll be back with the ideas before you know it. Just don't let him talk you into simultaneous adventures -- it's very trying to be caught in the middle of multiple stories, believe me.
