Gacked this one from Maid of Orange - I got

You scored as SG-1 (from Stargate). You are versatile and diverse in your thinking. You have an open mind to that which seems highly unlikely and accept it with a bit of humor. Now if only aliens would stop trying to take over your body.

Hee! Guess I'm not mercenary enough land on the Millenium Falcon - I admit I'm not familiar with some of these (what the heck is Cowboy Bebop?)

Dropped off two clocks at the elderly clock-guys shop, one to be disemboweled of its noisy motor and replaced with a quartz movement and the other to have its motor checked. Got a call from the old guy about an hour later. "I opened it up to take a look and there's nothing there!" Seems hubby took it out to see if *he* could tinker with it and then forgot about it. No wonder it wasn't running. *snicker*

Hoorah for Fridays! Tomorrow I get to sleep in.

Oh no - they thought it was funny. :-) He did say, "Well, I s'pose I can price what it would run you for a new motor then..."

Sounds a bit like my older brother's formerly electric guitar. It looks rockin' but it sounds, well, accoustic, since he couldn't quite figure out how to put the innards back the way he found them. I'm glad he never tried to figure out how I work!

I wish I lived near you, though. my grandparent's mantel clock needs one of those elderly clock-guys and I can't find one nearby. I love to hear it tick and chime, but it is being stubbornly silent at the moment.

LOL, I got Stargate, also, but only after a tie-breaker that tried to put me in Matrix or Farscape. Does that mean I am indecisive? Maybe, possibly, I don't know...

I used to have a nice old clock guy in the town west of me, but when I went to his place I was dismayed to find he had retired and closed the shop. It took a couple tries to track down his equivalent in the other town to the east, and I was so pleased to see them, wobbly jowls, suspenders, white hair, eyes squinting through those little flip-down jeweler's glasses and all. I even got a bonus - its a pair that work together instead of only one. Clock shops are so soothing to be in, I love them.

If I could clone myself, one of me would probably be a clock-repair person.

*splutter*
I missed a line at the beginning and all I saw was "elderly clock guys to be disemboweled". After recovering my breath, I realized it was a clock that was to be eviscerated, LOL.
Good luck with the clocks!
