Movies, movies...
Feb. 5th, 2006 07:40 pmGacked from - oh, any number of people now... This was interesting. Looks like several of my favorites are too obscure or old to be in there (Texas Across the River, anyone?), but made for a fun 'snapshot' of where the favor lies at this point in my life. :-) I've really enjoyed browsing through some of the others all of you have been showing.

Date: 2006-02-06 01:32 pm (UTC)I think it's my son's all-time favorite, ever. He's watched it again and again - and his sisters and I get to swoon for that lovely, noble Don "Baldy" - heh... Our entire family quotes the Cronk. "In war, Indians always yell!" "Why?" "Why not?!"....
That one and
"Why weren't you born a Comanche?"
"Mother run too fast."
Hee!

Date: 2006-02-06 01:37 pm (UTC)Do you know "Viva Max!"? It stars Peter Ustinov as a Mexican general who decides to retake the Alamo. If you like "Texas" I'm pretty sure you'd like "Max". Also very difficult to find, alas. I have a so-so VHS copy, rather old but well-loved.
