These are for [livejournal.com profile] boriel - I'll have to get the blooming yard pictures later in the season, when it blooms, I think - but, oh my what a lot of blooms it will have. :-)

February yard

The best I can offer for now will have to be this morning's snapshot from the front porch - but the bluebells are coming up so thick they look like grass, and everything is starting to take off already.

Bedroom window

The view from my bedroom window...

Our trees

And the view from partway up the small mountain we are at the base of - the clump of tall firs in the midst of all the new development has my house in the middle of it.

Entry

My favorite floor - This is the entry I had picked out to replace the warped brown linoleum. I love the inlay with all the leaves... It's fake wood, sort of like the industrial stuff they put in stores.

Detail

A detail of one of the corners. :-)

And for [livejournal.com profile] kimbys_place...

Reading

This is moi, reading one of my very favorites "The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass" in the library. :-)

and
Kitchen window

My kitchen window, over the sink. I don't have much of a view from it, as the garage is on that side, but on the other hand, it blocks my view of the development in that direction so I guess I don't mind. I look out the other windows more often.

I haven't been able to pin everyone down for a family shot at this point... will try again.

Very pretty floor! They are doing some amazing things with synthetic flooring materials these days. You should see the cool stuff the vendors bring to my company to try to sell. There are synthetic marbles and woods and stones that looks so real you would never ever know. They even do something like 5,000 different molds for the stone so you won't get repetition. Plus they are virtually indestructible. Anyway, the leaf inlay is very elvish.

You've got a great view out of your window! Nothing like that out of mine except the brick of my next door neighbor, heh.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past - these are from when we were still rather newly in this house, which is well settled into now.

And we do? Lol! I love it. ^_^
