Finally got the new raised beds for my blueberries and jalapenos in, watching as my cannas finally uncurl their little flags to catch the sun, watering six new butterfly bushes (red, white and blue!) and yet another new rhodie too (mom keeps bringing me more of them, the deer eat all the blossoms where she is) - where would we be without warm sun, cool water and green plants?

I'll pass the word that there is a home if she decides to dig up any more of them - the ones she's brought me so far are about 2 x 2 feet in size or so, not too big, but they've also been growing more slowly over on that side of the mountains and like it being pampered over here.

yep, wings would be useful, wouldn't they. all the better to appreciate the warm sun, cool water and green plants. walks in the rain are good too.
