At long last it looks like we might be getting a new pastor at our little church - been 'without' since January, but it's been a pretty good transitional time - It helps when the previous one had to step down for family stuff, not because of some issue or scandal. We have a guy coming in from Pennsylvania beginning of Sept... Everyone's nervous as cats about cleaning up the church/grounds and symbolically polishing the communal boots before he gets here, funny how that works, the maybe-pastor is probably just as nervous if not moreso. ;-) He better have a good sense of humor or he'll never survive us, we have some real 'wits' running around in there.

Old Subaru went belly-up - today we bring home a new-to-us 20+ yr. old Volvo 240 wagon... I want to paint it something other than boring blue, maybe like a hippie bus or a stained glass lamp.

Much happiness in my whodom that my Three/Jo tales are being well-received, now to gather my courage and try to write something for Two, Jamie and Zoe. Two keeps running around in my head rubbing his hands together and wanting to go on an adventure, if I could just figure out what that adventure is... need to bribe the muse to speak up!

Good luck with your new pastor, we just got over that shuffle at our church recently. Our longtime pastor left and we were assigned a new one who we all liked, but then about 8 months later he got promoted and sent to Rome. Then, the one we got after that we didn't really like, he wanted to change a lot of things and fire our choir director and bring in paid cantor, which really upset my mom and I as choir members, so he ended up asking for a transfer after less then a year and then we couldn't get another one for another year so we had a bunch of visiting priests and retired priests for awhile but we've gotten a new about a year ago it's all settled back down now. I hope your experience is much more painless then all that.

I vote firmly in favor of a Two Jamie and Zoe adventure. They were the first bit of classic who that I really fell in love with. My one attempt so far at writing for the three of them I abandoned altogether because I just couldn't get it to come together, but I'm sure you'll have better luck.

Also, I know you've used that icon before but I never really looked at it properly. Is that Mr. Morton of 'Mr. Morton is the subject of the sentence, and what the predicate say, he does,' fame? I was (am?) such a big schoolhouse rock fan. I'm normally opposed to crossovers but someone should write an Interplanet Janet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfPEvKsme-c) /Doctor Who crossover.

Indeed it is - "Mr. Morton talks to his cat, Mr. Morton talks..." My fave Schoolhouse Rock ever. Oh, *do* write one for Interplanet Janet, and maybe you can even have the VERB! guy or EX-cla-ma-tions! involved. Haha!
