Yaaaay! *boing boing boing* Ohmygoodness! I feel like... I don't know, like fresh flowers and dewy grasses and springtime.

The Annual UNIT Picnic got the runner-up for crackfic,

The Farmer's Wife won the drabbles,

The Shining Furrow won the short stories,

And...as if that wasn't already an overflowing cup... I got the runner-up for favorite new author! (all of these in Classic, of course)

My hearty congrats to my talented flisters who are in there as well, livii, stunt_muppet, lost_spook and eponymous_rose - well done!

But... jjpor where are you? I am dumbfounded you aren't in there - you're amazing. You had my vote.

Yes, I missed the nominations, too. I shall be keeping an eye out next time, as there are so many fics and authors that were missing on the Classic front. I also think there may be a classic based awards, too, with a little bit of a different spin to CoT (although I think they've made a lot of improvements and should be patted on the back for it), so that might be fun also. oh_look_rocks which is a great name, if nothing else...

Just a fic constest thing for Whofic, folks could nominate stories they liked for each category, a panel of volunteers culled out the best of the lot and then there was a popular vote phase. Still, it does help in that strange way reviews/warm fuzzies do. :-)
