A friend let [livejournal.com profile] starbells and I dig through some large boxes of clothing she'd packed away from the days when she worked in a bank, to see if there was anything we liked. We were pawing through various florals and stuff we didn't care for when she came out with a burgundy-red velvet jacket and we both gaped and went (literally) "Oooooooo!" Heh.

Then we found a couple thickly ruffled blouses to go WITH it. "Ooooooooooooooo!" combined slightly with "EEEeeeeeeeee!"

Gee, I wonder what sort of look we admire. ;-)

If I was a guy, I would so be going for the smoking jackets - but that doesn't stop me from a few more feminine rufflings, does it? Ah, 'tis tempting to go hunting for a tie now.

Red velvet jacket and ruffles? No, sorry, I'm stumped. And your icon is obviously completely unrelated, too. ; )

Oh I know it, just a slip of the fingers there... ha! Maybe I should just go rummage up a monk's habit and do the Meddler, he's quite easy. ;-)

Ooh, I'm jealous!

(And if you don't want to think of it as cosplaying as Three, I remember a novel in which Romana II dressed in Three's old clothes. ;))

I can totally see her doing that - in fact, she would look very nice, if a bit short.

From the illustrations of the book in question (The Well-Mannered War by Gareth Roberts), she combined Three's coat with a rather familiar pair of checked trousers, possibly because of the height issue. Here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v110/nentari/dw/ScreenHunter_01Feb282332.jpg)'s one of the illustrations, by the way, in case you're curious.
