I've always called that 'happy claws'. My Pippin does this frequently--whenever I have the comfy plush throw folded up on the divan. Zaphod does it less frequently, mostly when he gets belly-rubbin's.

Oh, I like "happy claws" - or happy toes, I suppose if they're of good enough manners to keep the pointy bits in.
