What do you do with a Sleepy Teenager...?

...early in the mornin'....

You know, when my kids were little I could just lift them out of bed if they wouldn't get up.

Then they got big enough I could still *pull* them out of bed if all else failed...

Now they're just big lumps and I am reduced to yanking off covers, tickling and flashing lights.

What are some of your suggested ways of getting a teen out of bed when regular alarms fail to produce movement? My dad blasted us with the soundtrack from 2001, but I have other people in the house who still need to sleep. I can't do the 'natural consequences' because left to themselves they really don't seem to care if they miss school. :-P

This is so hilarious!!! I remember when my mum tried to get my brothers out of their beds. Yelling, screaming, ring the door bell.....but then they left home. Owww....I forgot to mention the music my brother Marvin used to listen at. This made him almost deaf and my mum lost her voice a couple of times....LOL!
