To face or not to face?
Oct. 10th, 2008 12:17 pmMy daughter is encouraging me to start up a facebook account, but I find I already have my plate full just vaguely managing to keep up with LJ... Have any of you ventured into Facebook? What makes it any different from here?
Also much happiness here as we've finally a new pastor and he and his family are moving here this week - they'll be staying with *us* for the next week or so until a rental house is available for them, which gives us a whopping 10 people plus randomly cycling friends and visitors. Somehow I foresee a lot of time spent in the kitchen!
Yikes...getting down into the 30s at night... time to finish patching the holes in my greenhouse so I can bed down my plant children for the winter. Duct-tape is my friend.

We've been plugging along fairly well and had a lot of variety in our speakers over this past year but it will be very, very nice to have it 'done'. They're coming over from PA via roadtrip, nice folks, I think they'll fit in here in the NW just fine - and as a bonus they're even geeky.
Good luck finding your associate - always wonderful news that your church is growing rather than shrinking.
